Copenhagen Airport is the closest airport. June is a peak time to visit the Nordics, so we recommend planning early where possible.
Train
Across the Bridge
Take the train across the Øresund Bridge via Malmö and north toward Kävlinge. Lund and Helsingborg are also on the line.
Stay & Venue
Malmö as a Base
Malmö is close to Copenhagen Airport, has plenty of places to stay, and is where shared transport to the venue will depart.

A few helpful answers.
Is there a dress code?
Midsommar is colorful and summery. For the wedding, cocktail attire is recommended and kilts are encouraged.
What is Midsommar?
Midsommar is one of Sweden’s most loved summer celebrations, with flowers, food, music, and very long days.
Can I bring a date?
If your date is listed on your invitation, absolutely. If not, we unfortunately cannot accommodate extra guests this time.
Are kids welcome?
Little ones are welcome at the Midsommar mingle if you let us know. For the wedding, we can only accommodate those listed on your invitation.
What is the closest airport?
Copenhagen Airport is closest. From there, the train to Sweden is straightforward. Please see the Travel section for more detail.
How do I get to the venue?
We will provide shared transportation from Malmö to the venue on both days. If you are arranging your own travel, public transport, taxi, and parking details will be shared closer to the date.
Do I need a visa?
Visa and passport rules depend on your citizenship and route. Please check the official guidance for Denmark and Sweden well ahead of travel.
Any Scottish or Swedish traditions to know?
Expect a blend of both. We’ll explain anything you need to know on the day, so just bring your best energy.
